Great Chishill Windmill

The windmill at Chishill is one of only seven open trestle post mills in the UK. The Great Chishill Windmill Trust CIO runs tours of the windmill during the summer months, but as a land mark, it stands proudly for all to admire.

Accommodation at The Woodman Inn

Two tastefully decorated bedrooms located at the historical Woodman Inn, Nuthampstead. Perfectly located for those visiting the Nuthampstead Airfield Museum, Royston or Duxford. Breakfast available.

Nuthampstead Airfield Museum

Nuthampstead Airfield Museum's mission is to provide a facility for public education of the 8th Air Force 398th Bomb Group and 55th Fighter Group. Especially these organisations activities and roles in the national defence whilst at Station 131, Nuthampstead. The museum is open for regular weekend tours from April to October. private tours can be arranged.

The Garden Room

The Garden Room is a separate annexe in the grounds of our listed thatched cottage in Great Chishill. There is parking, private garden and hot tub. The Pheasant is just down the road, and perfect for dinner or Saturday breakfast.
