A graduate of the University of Huddersfield with a degree in Business, Administration and Management. Possessing over twenty years of hospitality management experience at both operator and senior leadership level in both the branded and independent sectors, specialising in sales/ business growth through innovation, engagement and business development.
Martin Prescott
Director
Martin has owned and operated businesses in the commercial and not-for-profit sectors in the UK, USA and Australia for over forty years, and describes himself as both a serial entrepreneur and an evangelist for private enterprise. In addition to running his own companies, Martin served as a college governor for over ten years, and an elected Ward Councillor for twelve years in what was then his North London home borough of Enfield. His Council focus was on business, employment and enterprise, and he chaired the award-winning Enfield Young Persons’ Life Opportunities Commission in 2009/10.
With previous experience in the restaurant, nightclub and professional audio industries, Martin more recently returned to the hospitality sector by acquiring two now-thriving country pub/restaurants under his Nutwood Pubs brand. Having risen to the many challenges of recent years, he remains committed to his vision of a venue offering high-quality food and drinks, a traditional English countryside welcome and whole-hearted public engagement as the effective heart of any local community.
Natalie Duncker
Director of Marketing and Communications
With many years’ experience in tourism and hospitality worldwide, including country clubs in South Africa, 5-star resorts in the UAE and a wide range of pubs, wine bars and restaurants in Tanzania and the UK, Natalie has spent the last decade focused on weddings. She initially managed ‘destination’ celebrations on the tropical island of Zanzibar, before moving back to the UK to gain valuable operations experience at the luxury end of the wedding industry. Since joining Nutwood, Natalie has transformed our weddings and special events business, and now manages the entire Nutwood brand through her innovative approach to marketing and effective use of all modern communications channels.
David Kerr

With nearly 15 years experience under his belt, David has joined at a time of growth, and he intends to put Nutwood Pubs squarely on the pub map. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge, experience and flare, evident in his exceptional cooking and menus. Expect, pub classics, creative dishes and an incredible selection of outstanding specials
